Acupuncture
What is it?
Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese medicine-based approach to treating a wide range of conditions by triggering highly specific points on the body with fine needles. This is a minimally-invasive method which stimulates nerve-rich areas of the skins surface, producing a tiny injury at the insertion site and signalling the body to respond.
Acupuncture is utilized to restore your body’s natural energy flow (Qi), relieve pain, improve circulation, address headaches and much more. It can be used as a stand-alone treatment for pain relief and well-being, or often, is used in conjunction with an active rehabilitation program, to enhance healing while regaining optimal function.
How we are different.
A portion of our staff are specially trained and accredited to provide both acupuncture and dry-needling services. As life-long learners, they are consistently brushing up on the latest knowledge to provide you with the best care.
Most importantly, our Therapists lead with empathy. We know needles can be intimidating. For new-comers to this treatment, our therapists are attentive and listen to your needs. We strive to establish a relaxing atmosphere and provide detailed knowledge of the whole process which helps to quell any fears or inhibitions.
